Easy Family Saturday 2/16/13

We don't have much to report for today which, as usual, is great news in the NICU. We spent the day together as a family and each of us had a great time. This is just one of so many days we will have as a family. In fact, there are about 6,738 days until Hattie goes to college. But even then, she will always be our little girl. I kangarooed with Hattie during the day and we gave her a bath tonight. It wasn't her first bath, but it was the first time that Melissa and I did everything. It was definitely a new experience for all of us and I'm sure Hattie noticed we aren't quite professionals yet (she sure is slippery!). But our nurse Rachael coached us through it and we ended up with a clean baby. The bath was followed up by some kangaroo time with mommy that warmed Hattie back up nicely.
Hattie weighed 1,629 grams or 3 lb., 9.4 oz. tonight.
